Emerging questions in data-driven decision-making for agriculture: Crop consultant conversation
Robbie Weathers is a Product Manager at Granular, a Farm Management Software company that leverages fine-scale data to improve decision-making among growers. The San Francisco-based agricultural technology company is a subsidiary of Corteva Agricscience and a spin off of DowDuPont. He recently authored the blog “How to Develop a Data-Driven Plan: Purposeful Collection,” and regularly contributes to outreach on agricultural data best practices. He is an advisor of the NSF Engineering Research Center IoT4Ag (iot4ag.us), within which UC Merced is a key institution. In 2001, Weathers graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Agronomy and Crop Science. He is a Certified Crop Advisor.
